Lady Gaga at Amfar Gala at Cipriani

Last night Lady Gaga performed for a gaggle of bold names at Cipriani’s for a benefit for Amfar.  These pics are from Gaganews.com.  We think the makeup is pretty cool.  Gaga was also pictured with Cindy Lauper.  We think Cindy looks like she is smelling something bad.  Maybe gaga let out a toot-toot.

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Party at Provocateur

Posted in Uncategorized by blogwing on 02/11/2010

Before we hit the Interview event we popped by the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue party to check out the mag, the girls and have some bubbly. The space was packed but on this night the boy to girl ratio was probably a solid 9 guys for every 1 girl! It seems there was some Las Vegas theme happening, all the girls were all heading to Vegas afterwards. The models from the mag were all there including cover girl Brooklyn Decker, singer John Legend, host Mark McGrath, ex-cover girl Bar Rafaeli, Cintia Dicker, Julie Henderson and Jessica White. Interview 40th Anniversary at Good Units

Posted in Uncategorized by blogwing on 02/11/2010

So like most of New York we took a snow day yesterday but the night before we were out hard for the Interview Magazine 40th Anniversary party. We love Interview Magazine and consider them to be part of our New York family especially our girls, Renata Merriam, Susan Kilkenny, Marie LaFrance and Ranya Johnston. As usual Interview loves to be first. They were the first to hold an event at the Standard, while it was still basically a construction site and this time they chose well again with Good Units. They lined the walls of the cavernous space with Interview covers from years past as well as Graffiti art.

Others seen at the party included: Kelly Killoren, Kate Bosworth, Josh Lucas, Naomi Campbell, Mary-Kate Olsen, Daphne Guinness, Chloe Sevigny, Terry Richardson, Hana Soukupova, Amy Sacco, Patrick McMullan, Kelly Cutrone, Dalia Oberlander, Mickey Boardman, Mark Silver, Ben Becton, Francesca Hammerstein, Dan Ragone and countless others. Interview Magazine’s party are always the party to beat and they set the bar high again this season.

As fashion week begins the fashionistas will be stunned to learn of the tragic loss of Alexander McQueen. The darling of critics and consumers alike has committed suicide at the age of 40.  The death comes three years after the suicide of his good friend and muse, Elizabeth Blow. This is truly a sad day.
